His mother and father are the genuine sources of inspiration and motivation that drive him to go further in life. They have always been his biggest supporters. When Laura was working his way up through the football leagues in his hometown, he eventually became the top player in that area, and he had a good deal of luck on his side the entire time.

Jayden de Laura Parents: Mom Malinda And Dad Jacob de Laura

On August 11, 2001, Jayden de Laura was born to his parents, Malinda de Laura and Jacob de Laura. Malinda was the mother, while Jacob was the father.

The rising Wildcat quarterback was born and reared in a suburb of Honolulu, Hawaii, which is located in the state of Hawaii. However, his environment was not the best for producing a player of his caliber. In spite of everything, he was able to prevail with the assistance of his parents.

Jayden de Laura was brought up by his parents in P’lolo Valley Housing, which is located in Honolulu, Hawaii, and is not a particularly desirable neighborhood due to the extremely high rate of violence there.

However, a lot of people don’t have as much luck as him. Jacob’s father mentioned that the place where they live, Pilolo Valley Housing, is not an environment that is beneficial to the growth and improvement of any athlete’s talents.

There is no way out of the web of life in a person’s own house once they have become entangled in it, and there is no hope for their future. The crime rate and prevalence of drug usage are comparable to those seen in the fictional Gotham City in the real world.

“It’s not hard for youngsters to get sucked into the culture here, and sadly, a lot of them don’t make it out alive. He benefited from good fortune, which is something I don’t believe he takes for granted in any way.” Jacob had stated that Jayden was the fortunate one to escape the inconsiderate way of life that prevailed in their own land.

De Laura, who has a height of 6 feet and a weight of 190 pounds, finished his junior football playing career at Washington State, where he passed for 3,688 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions. De Laura has a height of 6 feet and a weight of 190 pounds.

During those two years, he served as the starting quarterback for the football squad that represented the Cougars. In 2021, the Athletic Directors of the Pac-12 Conference chose him to be the Offensive Rookie of the Year for their conference.

When the 21-year-old football player entered his name in the transfer portal for NCAA football at the conclusion of the previous year, he did not initially inform anyone about it. Instead of that, Jayden decided to phone his father, Jacob, to tell him the news while he was in the shower.

“I can recall waking up in the morning and not telling anyone what had happened. After entering the portal, I immediately dialed my father’s number. I informed him that I had gone through the portal, and he responded, “What?! ” “,

Jayden de Laura’s Bio

Jayden de Laura is a quarterback for the American football team that represents the University of Arizona. Jayden de Laura was born on August 11, 2001.

Jayden de Laura in High School

His high school football career began at Damien Memorial School in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he played on the school’s junior varsity team as a quarterback, safety, kicker, and punter before suffering a dislocation of his collarbone two games into the season. De Laura transferred to Punahou School in Kona, Hawaii, where he played on the school’s varsity team.

After making that decision, he transferred to Saint Louis School in Honolulu, which is known for producing quarterbacks such as Timmy Chang, Marcus Mariota, Tua Tagovailoa, and Chevan Cordeiro, among others. He is now concentrating only on the position of quarterback. With the assistance of his family, specifically his uncle Mel, a former strength and conditioning coach at Hawaii and SMU under the direction of June Jones, De Laura attempted to improve his weight from its previous level of 140 pounds.

When de Laura was a junior, he took over as the starting quarterback from Cordeiro, and during that season he threw for more than 2,000 yards and helped his team win the state championship. Prior to that, de Laura was forced to sit out his sophomore season due to restrictions governing transfers. His senior year, he went on to throw for 3,452 yards and 29 touchdowns, earning him the ILH offensive player of the year honor as well as Hawaii’s Gatorade Player of the Year award. He was selected the offensive player of the year for the ILH.

On October 2, 2019, de Laura made his commitment to play collegiate football at Washington State, where he is rated as a three-star prospect by both 247Sports and ESPN.

Jayden de Laura at The State of Washington

After being uncertain about his future at Washington State after the departure of Mike Leach and other offers from schools such as Ohio State, de Laura reaffirmed his commitment to play for Washington State after Nick Rolovich was hired as the head coach of Hawaii. Rolovich’s offense is a run and shoot offense, which is analogous to the offense that de Laura ran while he was at Saint Louis.

As a result of his selection as the starting quarterback for the first game of the 2020 season, which will be played against Oregon State, De Laura will become the first true freshman in the history of the program to start a game at quarterback.

Due to a positive test for COVID-19, he was suspended for one game, which was played against Stanford.

Suspension of Jayden de Laura

Following his arrest on suspicion of operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs on February 26, 2021 in Pullman, De Laura was immediately expelled from the football team for an undetermined period of time.

Arizona

On January 7, 2021, De Laura submitted his name into the transfer portal after the conclusion of the season he played for Washington State. On the 10th of January, De Laura made public his decision to attend the University of Arizona as a transfer student.

Jayden de Laura, the starting quarterback, has two younger brothers named Jayson and Jayxen.

Jayden de Laura is the oldest of his parents’ three children and the first of their three children to be born. Jayson and Jayxen are his two younger brothers, and they are his only siblings.

At the same time as his older sister and younger brother, Jayden attended Damien Memorial School in Honolulu when he was a little child. His two brothers, Jayson and Jayxen, both have dreams of making it as a football player at the professional level.

De Laura arrived at her conclusion after participating in the school’s junior varsity team, where she played nearly every position. He decided to attend Saint Louis School so that he could focus exclusively on his profession as a quarterback there. When he made his decision, all of his brothers were on board with it completely.

After being arrested in February 2021 in Pullman for operating a car while under the influence of alcohol, De Laura was immediately kicked off the football team for an indefinite amount of time. The judge’s decision came down on July 29, 2021, and it stated that he was found not guilty of the offence.

His brothers Jayson and Jayxen helped him and gave him hope for the otherwise bleak football career he was about to have while he was locked up and waited for the court date. De Laura was locked up for a period of four months while the court date was being scheduled.

Who Is Jayden de Laura Uncle Mel de Laura?

The quarterback Jayden, who is 21 years old, has an uncle named Mel de Laura who played football in the past and was a wide receiver at the University of Hawaii.

Along with his parents and two brothers, his uncle had also a significant influence on the choices he made in the beginning of his professional life. During his career, Mel de Laura was a member of the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors football team and played the position of wide receiver.

Mel was promoted to the position of head coach of the team in due course. He was awarded the post of strength and conditioning coach at Southern Methodist University (SMU), where he would work under the guidance of coach June Jones. In this role, he would be responsible for overseeing the student athletes’ strength and conditioning.

He has nothing but praise for Jayden and wishes nothing but the best for him in all of his professional endeavors. In the same vein as the Sophomore’s parents, the Sophomore’s uncle Mel has the hope that one day Jayden would play in the National Football League (NFL).
