What Was The Case ?

Glasgow acknowledged in his plea agreement that he withdrew $407,450.00 in cash from one of his nonprofit groups’ bank accounts in 2018 alone and used the money for his own gain. He was legally required to declare the funds on his tax return as income because he used the money for personal expenditures.

Glasgow, however, did not even submit a report for that year. Glasgow also tried to cover up this activity by having his tax preparer fill out false IRS 990 forms for Glasgow’s nonprofit organisations, greatly understating their income and omitting the financial benefits Glasgow got from them.
