The Scholes family have received criticism after pictures of an illegal house party were posted to Instagram by Alicia Scholes, but who is she?
Yesterday, The Sun reported that the police were called to the £3.5 million mansion of Manchester United legend Paul Scholes after a house-party was thrown for his sons 21st birthday.
The issue is that the Scholes’ live in an area of Greater Manchester which is currently under new lockdown rules after a recent COVID-19 spike.
“Officers attended and engaged with an individual, explaining the restrictions and encouraging them to be compliant,” said a spokesperson for the Greater Manchester Police.
Amongst the images of the party being shared online were those that Alicia Scholes, daughter of Paul, posted to Instagram. The party pics were quickly deleted from her account but show groups of young people not following social distancing rules.
