For the occasion of its 25th anniversary, Titanic has been remastered in 4K and converted into 3D for a theatrical re-release, and the tickets will soon go on sale.
You can re-live the evergreen love story of Jack and Rose by going back in time to witness every stunning moment at its best version.
Director James Cameron brings to his audience a smoother and more immersive experience by screening his classic film at a high frame rate – often 48 frames per second, Mental Floss notes.

As of January 10, 2023, the Titanic has been listed on Regal and AMC theaters, and the tickets for the movie can be bought from the official websites when they go on sale.
However, at the time of writing, the dates and showtimes are yet to be announced.
You can track the websites for more updates on the tickets, their price, and showtime.
The movie will re-release in theaters on February 10 ahead of Valentine’s Day with a run time of 194 minutes.
James Cameron remasters iconic film in 4K
After using high-end technology for showing more frames within a second in certain scenes in his other iconic film Avatar, James has brilliantly incorporated it in Titanic.
He shared the official trailer for the re-release on his Twitter account while announcing its release date.
The filmmaker tweeted: “Some stories are timeless. In celebration of the 25th anniversary, please join us in experiencing Titanic in remastered 4K 3D. Opening February 10th in theaters.”
The domestic rights for the film were obtained by Paramount from Disney last year after a re-release date was set for the 3D 4k version.
The movie is releasing in theaters for the third time
Although Titanic has seen two theatrical releases – when it was originally screened in 1997 and again in 2012 – there is no dearth of excitement surrounding its return to the big screen.
The love story and ultimate tragedy that unfolds in the lives of the lovers have a similar impact on the minds of the viewers to date and many have taken to Twitter to relive the moment.
Netflix Canada shared a GIF featuring Pam of The Office US and captioned it: “Can’t wait to tell my kids I saw Titanic in theaters.”
“Titanic is literally my guilty pleasure movie. Really tempted to go watch it on the big screen,” said another.
A third tweet said: “Titanic is returning to theatres in February for the 25th anniversary, I’m so excited. I can’t wait to cry while watching it in 4K”
