The 39-year-old actress is slowly becoming the face of Netflix’s rom-com genre. Her 2019 film Falling Inn Love earned her a lot of fame among the new generation of rom-com lovers. The actress was born to parents Don Flores and Carmen Milian. She and her two other siblings were raised in Waldorf, Maryland. At 13 the actress moved to LA with her mother and three sisters, trying to land a gig in the entertainment industry.

Christina started her show biz career in the music industry. One of her first jobs in the entertainment industry was performing vocals for rapper Ja Rule’s song Between Me and You in 2000. The song peaked at No. 11 on Billboard Hot 100 charts.
Christina earned another major gig when she co-wrote and performed backing vocals for Jennifer Lopez’s song Play from the album J. Lo (2001). Her high profile collaborations landed her a record deal with Def Soul Records. Following this, she recorded her self-titled debut album which became a massive hit in the UK, Netherlands, and Sweden.

Resort to Love’s cast sees Christina in the lead role as Erica Wilson, who takes a gig working on a remote island, in a luxurious resort after her music career melts down.
Actors Kayne Lee Harrison, Jay Pharoah and T.J. Power are the supporting cast members, as they play Cre, Jason King, and Barrington respectively. The other actor’s in the cast are Sylvaine Strike, Jeremy Boado, Christiani Pitts, Karen Obilom among others.
