What Illinois court changes are ahead with SAFE-T Act

Court proceedings across Illinois will be different when the state implements no cash bail.
Illinois’ Supreme Court gave the go-ahead for pre-trial hearings to be conducted remotely. The Supreme Court said local courts have limited resources and expect to have a lot of pre-trial hearings.
The SAFE-T Act will help courts comply with the end of cash bail on September 18.
