Jason Matthew Ethier, who went by the name ImJayStation on YouTube, was a well-known user who has now been banned from the site. Find out what happened to him and what could have happened to the YouTuber.
On November 24, 2016, Jason Matthew Ethier relaunched his YouTube channel under the name “ImJayStation” and reuploaded all of his videos, except for the ones about his trespassing. The name of his channel was a play on PlayStation, a well-known brand of video game consoles made by Sony.
Later on March 24, 2018, around 6:30 p.m., Ethier was arrested at Walt Disney World in Florida for trespassing and trying to avoid being taken into custody. He said that he and another YouTuber were in Florida making ghost-themed vlogs for future use.
Ethier was called by security because he was angry that another park visitor had taken his backpack by mistake. Workers say that when Ethier was asked to check lost and found or guest claims, he got angry and instead chose to yell at the supervisors.
He was told to leave the filmed luggage check, which Disney said was against company policy. He was later arrested on a $1,200 bond and released after paying the bond.
What happened to and where is ImJayStation now?
Jason Matthew Ethier, who used to go by the names ImJayStation and JayStation, is a Canadian Internet personality who used to be a YouTuber.
In 2015, he started his YouTube career as JayStation. But a year later, in 2016, he was arrested for trespassing during one of his “24-hour overnight challenges,” in which he allegedly broke into abandoned homes, stadiums, and office buildings to spend the night.
Many of these tricks were planned ahead of time. After he was arrested, his YouTube channel stopped making money.
The YouTuber, on the other hand, used to keep making new channels and then use the content.
On March 12, 2021, YouTube’s Terms of Service were broken, so ImJayStation and 666 other channels were shut down.
After YouTube shut down his channel more than once, he decided to stop using it for now. After a few months, though, the YouTuber said he would be back to talk about his real estate journey.
But he shouldn’t have looked at his past on YouTube. So far, he hasn’t done anything that would put him in the spotlight.
We hope that he will come back soon
The scandal about ImJayStation’s girlfriend Alexia Marano
Jason Matthew Ethier, also known as ImJayStation, said on YouTube in January 2020 that his girlfriend at the time, fellow YouTuber Alexia Marano, had been killed by a drunk driver in Toronto, Canada.
Later videos, which Ethier at first said were real, show him going to a makeshift memorial and using a ouija board to try to talk to her from beyond the grave.
Some viewers and other YouTubers were doubtful about Ethier’s claims because of what he had said before.
After Mutahar of the YouTube channel SomeOrdinaryGamers confirmed that Marano was still alive at the time, Ethier said that the whole thing was a hoax to get more subscribers and viewers, and that he planned to “resurrect” Marano in a later video.
After the problem, Marano broke up with Ethier and shut down her YouTube channel
In a video that was posted on January 26, 2020, Ethier said that Marano was in on the lie from the beginning. He said that Marano had left him and taken her things, and that police had come to his house to tell Ethier that Marano had accused him of assault and assault with a weapon.
Marano said on Twitter that she was “just a small child caught in the crossfire.”
On February 3, Toronto Police said that Ethier had been arrested and charged with assault and assault with a weapon. He will go to court on March 16 at Toronto’s Old City Hall on these charges. It is not clear if the charges have anything to do with the hoax.
What’s ImJayStation’s age?
Since Jason Matthew Ethier hasn’t said when he was born, we can only guess that he is somewhere in his 20s.
He was born and raised with his parents and family in Nova Scotia, Canada.
He has also kept his personal life very private and only shared things that he felt comfortable talking about.
When Jason was on YouTube, he was always so rebellious and would do anything for content.
Ethier, be it with, has been criticized by the YouTube community for his late-night attempts to use paranormal activities to talk to dead celebrities like XXXTentacion and Mac Miller.
After YouTuber Etika died on June 26, 2019, another YouTuber made a video with a clickbait title similar to those of his other videos. In this video, he said he was sorry for what was in his earlier clickbait videos about the Ouija board and celebrity deaths.
How Much Is ImJayStation Worth?
ImJayStation is worth more than a million dollars as a whole. YouTube is his main source of income.
But after he was kicked off YouTube, he said he had been working in the real estate business.
After being fired for so long, Ethier thought the firings were a mistake at first and contacted YouTube to ask that they be brought back.
In an email, YouTube told him why he had been fired.
He called it the “worst platform ever” because of this. He said on Twitter that he hadn’t done anything wrong and that his channels had been shut down by mistake.
This made a lot of other users angry, and many of them cheered when he was fired because they thought it happened a long time after it should have. Ethier has said that he will sue YouTube because of the firings.
