American meteorologist Erica Meyer KRQE is presently employed by KRQE in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she reports the weather and serves as an anchor.

What happened to Erica Meyer?

Erica Meyer is happy to call New Mexico her new home after joining KRQE as the station’s new morning meteorologist in the fall of 2019.

Erica worked as a meteorologist at WBND in South Bend, Indiana, for three years. She live-tracked an EF2 tornado while she was there.

She spoke to children about record river flooding, severe thunderstorm damage, lake effect snowstorms, and other weather-related topics while visiting dozens of schools.

She worked as a meteorologist and reporter at KNBN in Rapid City, South Dakota, before relocating to South Bend, and she delivered the keynote address at the annual Rapid City Women in Science Conference in 2017.

In Albuquerque, New Mexico, there is a television station called KRQE channel 13. It is connected to Fox and CBS. The New Star media group owns it. In 1953, it was founded.

Erica decided to follow her aspirations and enroll at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign because of her ongoing interest.

Even in elementary school, Erica was certain that she wanted to become a meteorologist.

She was completely enthralled by clouds, storms, and tornadoes.

Erica traveled with her university friends across the Plains for two weeks as part of a Field Studies of Convection tour.

She had never before witnessed a tornado, a supercell, a dust devil, or a dust storm.

Erica enjoys exploring our lovely state and traveling when she isn’t working. Hiking, skiing, Jeeping, camping, and water sports are some of her favorite pastimes.

She also enjoys attending concerts and visiting new breweries, wineries, and restaurants.

Erica was raised by her parents in Chicago, USA. Our attempts to learn more about their identities, however, were unsuccessful because she had kept them a secret from the public.

Furthermore, it is unknown if she had any siblings or not. She is wed to her husband James Meyer, according to her marital status.

It is known that the couple was married in 2020 after walking down the aisle together and not having kids. She currently resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with her husband.
