Ross was led to believe that his friend “IShowSpeed” Watkins Jr. had died in an accident by the fake news that he had been shot. Several news organizations said that he had died this morning from a gunshot wound. But that’s not true. He is not dead.

Even so, the rumors are still going strong on sites like Tiktok and Twitter. Many people on the internet are making up fake news about the streamer and saying that he is dead.

In the meantime, the YouTuber got swatted on Sunday, August 7, 2022, during a live stream on his Twitch channel.

Soon after IShowSpeed got swatted during a live stream, Adin Ross also got swatted. The police then arrested the YouTubers for betting in a way that was against the law.

Three police officers with their guns drawn went through Ross’s house. Ross is known for pulling pranks on his fans, so many of them were confused by what happened.

But when Ross said in public that he and IShowSpeed had been swatted, it turned out to be true.

Ross tweeted a video with the following caption: “Last night, I got hit, which was very, very scary. I’m okay. I love you guys. Speed also got hit; we just got off the phone with him and he’s fine. We live in a sick world, man.”

He said in the video: “I’m okay. I’m glad that people have been asking me how I’m doing and making sure I’m okay. I’ll let you know the whole story later, of course. Traumatizing. It’s creepy. It’s what you have to do in this situation. Pami and I are still in shock,”

“I also heard that a swatting attack was used on Speed. Man, we live in a sick and cold world. But I’m glad people care enough to check on me. Speed is doing good.” At the end of his tweet, Ross said.

Adin Ross went back to his new house in Miami. He said that his swatting was true and thanked his fans for their support.

Ross’s name comes up in news about arrests more than once. It was said that the streamer was arrested in July 2022 for “stealing sneakers.” A video of him was seen by a lot of people online. Ross was at a Sneaker store in the clip. On July 12, 2022, Keemstar sent it to him.

In the same way, he was banned from Twitch for life in April 2022 after he was caught texting while driving during a live stream.
