UPDATE: The Davenport City Council ratified a separation agreement with former city administrator Corri Spiegel. Council went into closed session Wednesday, Dec. 13 to discuss the settlement.
Spiegel will get $1.6 million out of the deal. Her separation agreement prevents her from posting, speaking or communicating on behalf of Davenport without the approval of the corporation counsel.
EARLIER: The Davenport City Council will consider formally ratifying separation agreements with three former city employees.
One is the high-profile settlement with former City Administrator Corri Spiegel for $1.6 million. Spiegel says she endured years of harassment at her job. Our Quad Cities News reporter Victoria Frazier has the latest.
