Accident With Trey Gowdy: Possible Reason For Surgery?

The accident could be another reason why Trey Gowdy needs surgery on his nose.
Gowdy was in a terrible car accident on June 14, 2020. Around 12:30 am, the former congressman was a passenger in a car that was in an accident with only one other car.
On an exit ramp, the car’s driver, who was a good friend of Trey’s, lost control. This made the car roll over several times before coming to a stop in a ditch. The accident happened on I-85 near South Carolina’s Spartanburg.
Even though Gowdy was wearing his seatbelt, it wasn’t properly fastened. As a result, he hurt his nose, cheekbones, and jawbone, among other parts of his face. He was taken to the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center right away, where he had surgery to fix his injuries.
During an interview with Fox news, he even talked about the whole thing. He said that he had broken bones in his face and cuts on his skin. But he didn’t say anything about surgery.
Even though the accident might have changed his face, we can’t be sure of that until he says so himself.
