Tony Brawner Obituary – Cause of Death: In loving memory of Summertown resident Tony Brawner.

On Saturday, November 4, 2023, Tony Brawner’s son, Ray announced his passing via a social media post.

“This is Ray (Tony’s son). There are no words to describe what I need to say…My dad is now in the presence of Jesus with my mom and Amy. What an incredible man he was. He loved life and he loved people. Most importantly he loved Jesus! We would appreciate your prayers in the days to come,” the post said.

The announcement of Tony’s death was flooded by heartfelt tributes and condolences across social media. He will be sorely missed.

“He was a large part of the Summertown community – and LOVED the Octoberfesr event. He had a large setup at his home with multiple vendors. Many of you that have attended the event have been to his home,” Summertown Octoberfest wrote on Facebook.

Tony Brawner’s visitation will be Tuesday Nov. 7 from 4-8 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. Service will be held Wednesday Nov. 8 at 1 pm with visitation starting at 11am at Grace Church of the Nazarene in Columbia.
