Garth Daybell: Who Is He?

Garth Daybell was raised in a close-knit household with four other siblings and his parents Chad and Tammy Daybell. He has always had a unique relationship with his father. He even talked about his early recollections while on the program, saying that many of them involved his father and the numerous cookouts, barbeques, and picnics they would go on. Despite the fact that Tammy’s death was investigated by the authorities as suspicious, it is said in official sources that she died of asphyxiation, and the findings of an autopsy (which was performed later) were never disclosed. On November 5, 2019, two weeks later, Chad wed Lori Vallow, his second wife, who was already the mother of Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow from her prior unions. Surprisingly, both children have been reported missing since September 2019. JJ vanished from Rexburg’s Kennedy Elementary School on September 23, while Tylee was last seen near the Yellowstone National Park on September 8.

The show asserts that Chad and Lori initially acted as though she didn’t have any children and that they never discussed the latter’s minor children following their marriage. It’s interesting to note that Chad and Lori were on vacation in Hawaii while the police were looking for Tylee and JJ. Although Chad stated he could not discuss the whereabouts of Lori’s children due to security concerns, Garth Daybell, who was still close to his father, mentioned that Chad had given them assurances regarding their safety. However, on February 20, 2020, law enforcement detained Lori from Hawaii and accused her of desertion, failing to provide for her children, and three other misdemeanors.

The police then acquired a warrant for Chad’s residence while Lori was awaiting trial and discovered human bones buried in a small grave in the backyard. The remains were tested right after, and investigators quickly determined that Tylee and JJ were the owners. As a result, Lori’s accusations of nonsupport and desertion were dropped in favor of a charge of concealing evidence, and Chad was arrested in June 2020 on suspicion of felony murder and concealing evidence.

Today, where is Garth Daybell?

Garth and his siblings have opted to defend their father wholeheartedly ever since he was charged with murder. They have even argued for his innocence on the show. The children think that Lori and her henchmen were responsible for Tylee and JJ’s deaths and that their father was horribly duped. It’s interesting to note that Garth said they were unaware of Lori’s children until the police showed up at their door, and even then, she had reassured them of their safety. Furthermore, the siblings added that their gravedigger father would never have placed the kids in such a little grave.

Garth and his siblings currently give the police free access to their house in the hopes that doing so may assist clear their father’s name. Garth appears to still reside in their Rexburg, Idaho, home and is quite close with his other brothers, despite the fact that he likes to avoid the spotlight and has a modest social media presence. Additionally, he is certain that the truth will come out and affirms that he will continue to fight for justice.
