The Blue Bloods Character You Likely Forgot Ariana DeBose Played

Since its debut in 2010, "Blue Bloods" has featured various guest stars across twelve seasons. Ariana DeBose appeared in the 2016 episode "The Road To Hell," where she portrayed potential killer Sophia Ortiz. The episode follows detectives Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) and Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez) as they investigate the murder of a pimp.

The case is quickly complicated when four women who had been working for the victim confess to killing him. Each woman has a strong motive for murder, as the man had forced them into prostitution, and they had nowhere to turn because they were undocumented. Eventually, the truth comes out, and it's narrowed down to one woman — and it isn't Ortiz.

"The Road to Hell" also sees the surprising arrest of Nicky Reagan-Boyle (Sami Gayle), which leads to tension within the family of law enforcement workers, who are forced to debate whether or not she receives special treatment.
