  • The term ā€˜gold juice’ wasn’t ever heard of or referenced until the actress mentioned it and is difficult to trace on social media chatter or anywhere else.
  • The Orange Is the New Black star’s comments have led fans to create all sorts of Hollywood conspiracy theories, but none of them can be verified.

Taryn Manning talks about ā€˜gold juice’ in Hollywood

Taryn had recently appeared on the Good For You Podcast when she spoke in length about ā€˜gold juice’ while she was discussing with Whitney what fame does to people.

When the host asked the OITNB star if she’d wished to attain unimaginable heights in her acting career, the latter brought up ā€˜gold juice’, which apparently has got Hollywood stars famous.

When Whitney asks the actress to elaborate, Taryn says ā€œI don’t knowā€, before adding: ā€œI didn’t drink it and I didn’t want it.ā€

She was offered to have it three times – in her 20s and 30s, but she declined it. She said she saw her co-stars ā€œchangeā€ after drinking it and it was a ā€œscaryā€ and ā€œreal thing.ā€

Explaining why she finds it terrifying, Taryn added: ā€œBecause they send like people after you and they can kind of moonlight as like a friend. They are wild in sheep’s clothing.ā€

The ā€˜gold juice’ supposedly lets you ā€œhave everything you want. All the fame in the world and all the money.ā€

Taryn’s remarks about the mysterious potion have resulted in different Hollywood conspiracies, but we can’t find a definitive answer and it hasn’t been referenced on the Internet or in the literature.

Some fans speculate gold juice could be a metaphor for the Illuminati. Others argue it’s nothing but plasma – a yellowish fluid rich in platelets used in cosmetic surgeries – although none of the wild theories can be verified.

One user wrote: ā€œI work at a plastic surgeon’s office in Beverly Hills and I got a mysterious call asking if we offered ā€˜the gold juiceā€™ā€

ā€œI believe all of it!! I’ve heard too many people talk about it and most of them are no longer with us,ā€ wrote another.

A third user said: ā€œI don’t think she’s lying. This is giving strong Illuminati vibes.ā€

ā€œCreepy. Sounds like blood drinking/sacrifice,ā€ read one comment.
