Spring Valley Hall baseball keeps rolling with 12-0 win over Elmwood-Brimfield

Spring Valley Hall continued to pound the baseball, dominating Elmwood-Brimfield 12-0 in five innings on Monday, May 28 to advance to the Class 2A state semifinals. 

Hall led 5-0 in the fourth when Brant Vanaman, Jimmy DeAngelo and Chance Resetich strung together three-straight doubles to bump the lead to eight runs. 

Vanaman then crushed a home run to center field to make it 12-0 in the top of the fifth. DeAngelo earned the victory on the mound for the Red Devils, which advance to play Tuscola on Friday at Dozer Park in Peoria.
