Sidney Crosby was playing ice hockey in Game 5 against the New York Rangers on 11 May 2022. When he had possession of the puck and three defenders close to him then Defenseman Jacob Trouba hit Sidney’s face with his left arm. Because of that hit, he fell down.
He skated toward the bench instead of chasing the puck again. Patriots head coach Mike Sullivan head coach announced on 13 May 2022 that he has been diagnosed with an upper-body injury and will not play in Game 6 against the New York Rangers.
