Quad City Animal Welfare Center waives adoption fees for veterans

Military veterans are at risk for conditions like PTSD, and the Quad City Animal Welfare Center wants to give back to veterans through a special adoption program. Executive Director Patti McRae spoke with Our Quad Cities News about the Center’s participation in the Veterans Adoption Program Public Act to waive adoption fees for veterans.
