Posting on TikTok under the username ‘Casa Lawson’, the DIY whizz demonstrated how she created her very own horizontal fence.

Sharing the step-by-step tutorial of her slat fence, the woman posted her clip with the caption ‘Garden Fencing DIY.’

She said: “Wait until you see how this garden fencing turned out.

“I used roof battens which were already treated for outdoor use and attached them with a nail gun to my existing fence.

“I used a spacer between each batten to make sure there was equal spacing all the way down.

“I got someone to help me because the lengths were super long, but this was so effective.

“Created a modern look and this is the final result.

“It cost me around £600 in total.”
