Former foreign affairs chief Albert del Rosario has died at the age of 83. He worked under the 2nd Benigno Simeon Cojuangco Aquino III administration from 2011 to 2016, and died yesterday on 18 April 2023, while en route to the United States of America, the DFA (Department of Foreign Affairs) said in a statement that didn’t reveal the cause of death.

“The family of Ambassador Albert Ferreros del Rosario is deeply disheartened to declare his passing today, 18 April 2023,” a family statement read.

Albert del Rosario is survived by his wife Gretchen, and children and grandchildren.

Albert del and his wife Gretchen were on a Philippine Airlines flight from Manila, Philippines to San Francisco, USA when he died.
