Part of CASI reopens following flooding

The Center For Active Seniors, Inc. (CASI) reopened part of its facility after the sprinkler system broke and flooded the building.

Standing water was all over the building, and CASI staff members began cleanup right away. Jane’s Place, their adult daycare, reopened January 29, and the community center and cafes are expected to open later in the week.

Staff says there’s still more work to do in other areas of the building, like the fitness room.
