Paras started his career with Minor Construction Related Work. He was providing flooring tiles to other developers.
He sold imitation jewelry on local trains in Mumbai in a Chawl at Ambewadi, Kalachowki.
He gain success in the 1990s from Paras Gundecha at Kalachowki, where he got a real state brokerage project.
He got the Bawlawadi Chawl Redevelopment project in 1989-99.
Later he associated and partnered with Pramod Jathar, who is a former MLA from Ratnagiri’s Kankavali Constituency.
He fought the Assembly elections from Kalachowki Sewri constituency on a Samajwadi Party (SP) ticket against the Shiv Sena’s Bala Nandgaonkar, who subsequently joined Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena in 2014. In this Election, he lost.
