Puchi is a Major League Baseball second baseman who currently plays for the Atlanta Braves. He was born in Willemstad, Curaçao, on January 7, 1997. This young man began playing baseball when he was six years old and changed to switch-hitting in 2013. Puchi was signed as an international free agent by the Atlanta Braves for $350,000 on July 2, 2013, after being discovered by Curaçao-based scout Dargello Lodowica. This youngster made his professional debut in 2014 with the Gulf Coast Braves and joined the Danville Braves in July of that year. A winner of the World Series in 2021, he has represented the Rome Braves, the Mississippi Braves of Double-A, and the Gwinnett Braves of Triple-A. The Atlanta Braves called him up and gave him his major league debut against the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2017. This two-time All-Star team member lost his father as a youngster, but he was focused on his goals and didn't let anything come in the way. This switch hitter throws with his right arm and has been a Braves man throughout his career so far.
