The Music at Butterworth concert series kicks off at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, with the award-winning musical combination of Minneapolis-based string duo The OK Factor and the Swedish quintet Jaerv, a news release says.
Joining efforts in 2017, this dynamic pairing immediately combined their individual strengths, grounded in a mutual love and respect for one another’s talent, rhythmic intricacies, inspiring melodic ornamentation, fascinating instrumentation, and musical traditions. They travel the world as Jaerv + The OK Factor introducing audiences to their fresh dual approach to music.
All Music at Butterworth free concerts take place in the grand Butterworth Center Library and are followed by free refreshments in the historic dining room. Plenty of parking is located adjacent to the Butterworth Center, 1105 8th St., Moline.
