Mikhail Tolstykh Cause of Death:- Mikhail Tolstykh (19 July 1980 – 8 February 2017), who was also known as Mikhail Sergeyevich Tolstykh, was a Ukrainian separatist colonel. Mikhail Tolstykh was better known by his alias or fictitious name Givi.
Mikhail Tolstykh was known as the commander of the Donetsk People’s Republic’s Somalia Battalion of the Separatist Forces in the conflict in Donbas from 2014, until his death in early 2017. He died on the morning of 8 February 2017.

Mikhail Tolstykh Cause of Death
Mikhail Tolstykh died on the morning of 8 February 2017, while working in his Donetsk office, Mikhail was killed by an explosion said to be caused by an RPO-A Shmel (portable disposable rocket) launcher fired from an unknown distance.
Donetsk People’s Republic officials accused Ukrainian forces of carrying out the attack, while Ukrainian security officials claimed it to be the result of Donetsk People’s Republic disagreement.
In 2022 Journalist Yuriy Butusov asserted that Mikhail Tolstykh was killed by a counter-intelligence unit of the SBU (Security Service of Ukraine) which was accepted by then-president Petro Oleksiyovych Poroshenko.
