Matthew Leclair Car Accident; Middletown CT Man, Matthew Leclair Passes Away In Crash Near Timber
Authorities have reported that a father and devoted spouse went suddenly late on Wednesday night as a result of a collision between his vehicle and a tree following the accident.
Middletown police were able to determine that the person who passed away as a result of the collision was Matthew Le Clair, who was 30 years old.
According to the police, officers were sent to the area of Atkins Street and Timber Ridge Road in response to a crash that occurred there.
According to a news statement issued by the department, Le Clair was found behind the wheel of a 2015 Infiniti Q50 SUV that had “severe damage” when the police arrived.
After colliding with a tree, it appeared as though the Infinity had veered off the path for reasons that could not be explained.
Despite the fact that firefighters were able to free Le Clair from the vehicle, the authorities have reported that he passed away at the scene.
The collision is still being looked at by authorities. Matt’s dedicated wife was Jessica Noel LeClair, who worked as a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist at Smilow Cancer Hospital.
Irene (Saam) and Joseph LeClair welcomed their son Matthew LeClair into the world on February 23, 1993, in the lovely city of Waterbury, Connecticut.
The community schools he attended led him to Oliver Wolcott Technical High School, where he studied to become an electrician.
He finished fourth in his class there and went on to become an electrician. Throughout his four years at OWTS, he was a member of four different sports and eventually became the captain of each of them.
He received the honor of being designated a male CIAC Scholar-Athlete for his school as well as All-State in volleyball during his senior year.
Within Watertown Troop 52, he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. The University of New Haven awarded Matthew a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute awarded him a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Matthew continues his education at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
As the Lead Engineer in the Connecticut/Western Massachusetts Substation Design section of Eversource, he was a rising star in the industry.
He started working there while he was a junior in college, and since then, he has developed into a very intelligent engineer for the company as well as a valuable member of their team.
It was during the course of the previous year that Matt started attending Middlesex Music Academy to learn how to play the violin, a skill that he had previously enjoyed when he was younger.
In 2016, Matt and Jess tied the knot after having first met when they were youngsters, reconnected when they were teenagers, and dated throughout their time in high school and college.
They had been dating for more than 15 years and had been married for seven and a half years while they were wedded.
They took pleasure in virtually every aspect of life together, including traveling regularly and visiting new locations, as well as collecting one ornament on each journey they took together, all of which will be valued keepsakes over the course of their lives.
