Her parents, Wendell Rector and Lela Rector, her parents-in-law, Pauline Hay and Charles Sawyers, her siblings, Clay Cooper Rector, Wendell Thompson Rector, Lucille Becraft, Pauline “Terry” Jandecka, Josephine “Jerri” Parsons, and Leah Rose Tower, her brother-in-law Richard “Dickie” Sawyers, her nephews Michael Aebersold and John David Tower, her niece Rhonda Aebersold, and her sister Jean Gilbert (David) of Gettingsville, Indiana

She is survived by her daughter Jacqueline Sue “Jackie” Sawyers of Villa Hills, Kentucky; her sisters-in-law, Margaret Sawyers Harbin of Louisville, Gaye Sawyers Campbell (Lynn) of Irmo, and Charleen Sawyers Bolton of Lindale, Georgia; and her nieces and nephews, Cheryl Jandecka, Charles Jandecka, Paula. Her great-nieces and great-great-nieces survive her.

At 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and 6:30 AM to 10:45 AM and 11:45 AM on Sunday, January 7, 2024, visitation will be conducted. On Monday, January 8, 2024, at 11:00 AM, Albany First Baptist Church West Cumberland will hold a funeral.
