Martha Higareda: Boyfriend Lewis Howes

Lewis Howes is a best-selling author and YouTuber who is Martha Higareda’s boyfriend. The School of Greatness, Lewis’ inspirational book, is his best-known work.

Lewis, Martha’s partner, was born and reared in Delaware, Ohio, a small town. His father, whom he has referred to as his first and most excellent mentor, inspired him to pursue a career as a professional football player.

Lewis’ sister called him on October 11, 2001, informing him that his father had been in an accident and had fallen into a coma. Three months later, even though his father had lived, he had changed completely and was only interested in watching television.

Lewis persisted, even fulfilling his childhood dream of playing arena football, but a serious arm injury put an end to his fledgling career after just one season. As a result, he spent a depressed year sleeping on his sister’s couch.

Lewis started reaching out to highly talented people on LinkedIn after learning that his sister needed assistance with the rent. Lewis then decided on his new life path: facing his fears.

He launched his podcast and television program “The School of Greatness” at the age of 29, and it has since received over 100 million downloads. Additionally, he has a popular YouTube channel with more than 2.62 million subscribers.

Martha Higareda and Lewis Howes: Relationship Timeline

Since 2021, Lewis Howes and Martha, his girlfriend, have been dating. On June 8, 2022, Lewis and Martha marked their first anniversary as a couple.

Lewis and Martha became close after meeting for the first time while traveling to Mexico. Although they were an hour apart, their relationship began when he messaged the actress on Instagram about going salsa dancing.

They went out to supper and ended up talking all night because of this harmless request. The couple chose to take things slowly and did not immediately jump at the chance to date.

The couple reportedly took their time to make things official and refrained from jumping at the chance to get close because they wanted to determine whether their relationship had the potential to develop into love or was simply a result of trauma bonding.

Lewis and Martha have been in high-profile relationships that didn’t last, so they wanted to be cautious and take their time with this one. Lewis dated former meteorologist and model Yanet Garcia from 2019 to 2021, while Martha dated actor Cory Brusseau for six years from 2011 to 2017.

Their endurance paid off, and they are now in a happy and satisfying relationship. The couple also doesn’t mind flaunting it, as they frequently share pictures of one another on each other’s Instagram accounts.

Martha Higareda: Early Life

The actress was born in Villahermosa, the capital city of a state in Mexico. When she was born, her parents combined their last names to give her the name Martha Elba Higareda Cervantes.

The creative bohemian was the owner of the mother and father. Artist Jose Luis Higareda rose to recognition for his gifted work, and actress Martha Cervantes appeared in movies and on stage.

In a household with so much imagination, it was hard to remain anonymous. Both Martha and her younger sister were destined to pursue acting as a career.

The girl loved to dance and did so as a child. She participated in kid’s organizations while studying jazz, flamenco, and folk dances. She attempted to perform on stage at the same time.

The young Mexican immigrated to Mexico City at the age of 14. The nation’s capital gave Martha Higareda many fantastic opportunity to refine her craft, and she immediately flourished in the neighborhood theater.

The girl, who was also a talented student, enrolled in El Tecnologico de Monterrey at the age of 15 to study communications. The aspiring actress was busy all the time.

Higareda had the opportunity to launch her acting career in 2000. At that time, Alfonso Cuarón offered the stunning young woman the starring role in the pornographic film Y Tu Mamá También (English: And Your Mother Too), which he was planning to produce.

After a successful audition, the woman was chosen to play the movie’s protagonist’s girlfriend. However, the project’s authors discovered Martha’s age all of a sudden.

The idea that the 17-year-old would strip in front of the camera seemed absurd. The young actress was swapped out with an older one by the filmmakers.

Cuarón, who is wise and knowledgeable, didn’t allow Higareda leave. Additionally, he praised her superb acting skills and exhorted her to enroll in the performing arts faculty.

In 2002, Martha made her film debut. The child was really fortunate to earn the major role at the start of her career. The adaptation of Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare, under the direction of Fernando Sariana, was no small undertaking.

Following the premiere, the girl won over spectators’ hearts, particularly those of men. These were male admirers who referred to Martha as “The Mexican Sweetheart,” a moniker that has long been connected to the actress.

The following year, Martha received a barrage of director offers. In addition to Enamórate, Mujer Dormida, El Sueo de Elias, and Casa de los Babys, she was also busy filming four other movies.

She had the good fortune to meet Daryl Hannah and Maggie Gyllenhaal at the previous one.

The Mexican actress started to take over Hollywood cinema about the same period. The girl made her acting debut in the American movie Borderland.

She met her future agent at the Zev Berman thriller’s premiere, and he convinced her to leave Mexico and relocate to Los Angeles. Higareda took his advice to heart.

The actress was welcomed with wide arms in Hollywood. Martha was offered a part in the criminal drama Street Kings, with renowned performers including Keanu Reeves, Chris Evans, and Forest Whitaker. The movie was a hit, earning three times what it cost to make.
