Jonathan Gales Wife

Jonathan Gales was a married man. His wife’s name is Claire Pepper. Claire Pepper and Jonathan got engaged at Greve de Lecq beach in 2015 and had been married for 16 years until his death. She explained his proposal,

‘I was doing a cliff-path walk and was meant to meet him at Plémont, but got tired so asked him to meet me at Grève de Lecq which foiled his plan to propose at Plémont.”

Jonathan’s wife received an email on 19 November 2022 from an LAPD detective and asked her to call him. When She called him, he broke the devasting news.

She said,

‘He had been on a work trip to Memphis with Kia cars and he told me it was a lovely project and described it as a moving and positive experience.”

She added,

‘He then decided to extend his trip and go to Los Angeles to visit one of his business partners and drop in on the edit for a film produced by Netflix, which they are working on.”

Jonathan Gales Death

Jonathan and another pedestrian (a 32-year-old man) were crossing the street in a marked crosswalk at the time of the collision. were hit by a suspected drunk driver on 18 November 2022 in downtown Los Angeles.

The drunk man was driving the vehicle on the wrong way down a one-way street at speed. He tried to drive away after hitting Jonathan and another man and crashed into another vehicle.

Local people tried to stop him from leaving that place and one driver blocked the drunk driver’s car. The suspect is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center on bail of $130,000. Jonathan suffered injuries while another 32-year-old man suffered severe injuries.

Jonathan was rushed to the nearest hospital where he died on 19 November 2022 at the age of 86. His death news was announced by Factory Fifteen the film and animation company,

“It is with deep sadness that we announce the death on the 19th of November, of our co-founder, colleague, and friend Jonathan Gales.”

Jonathan’s father said,

“He has been an inspiration to all those who were fortunate enough to meet him whether in creation, sport, or leisure.”

He added,

“He was a caring, thoughtful, and loving husband and father, a bubbly personality with a fascination for world culture.”

He added,

“He had many, many friends who, along with his close, and extended family, will sorely miss him.”
