Jesus Cintron Death News: In a tragic turn of events, a murder victim’s dying words have shed light on the perpetrator of a Tuesday night homicide in York. According to legal documents, the victim courageously identified the alleged shooter as 29-year-old Freddie Reyes-Luna of York, who now faces charges of criminal homicide.
UPDATE: On Thursday afternoon, authorities reported that Reyes-Luna had been apprehended in Lebanon County.
The York County Coroner’s Office has officially confirmed the identity of the shooting victim as 35-year-old Jesus Cintron-Molina.
This heart-wrenching incident unfolded on Tuesday, approximately at 7:30 p.m., along the 400 block of West Market Street. The scene was marred by the aftermath of multiple gunshots, leaving Cintron-Molina gravely injured and sprawled on the street.
Despite swift efforts to save him, Cintron-Molina succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to the hospital.
Law enforcement officials have disclosed that there was a prior connection between the victim and the alleged shooter. While it is evident that the victim was specifically targeted, the underlying motive behind this devastating act remains shrouded in mystery.
Regrettably, this incident marks the fifth homicide in York County this year, adding to the grim tally of 14 homicides in York County, as reported by the coroner’s office.
