IMEG Corp. and Missman Inc. announced a merger of the two Quad Cities-based firms on Tuesday.

“While we are very proud of the 70-year history of our firm, we also recognized that the next step for our team and clients was to merge with a firm of comparable quality that would enable us to expand services,” said Pat Eikenberry, president of Missman. “IMEG has been a valued partner, sharing our Quad Cities history, and the merger will broaden and deepen our existing industry specializations, enabling us to offer more comprehensive services tailored to our clients.”

Missman will continue to operate under its existing brand — as a division of IMEG Corp — through the end of the year.

“We are very excited to advance our relationship with Missman,” said Paul VanDuyne, president and CEO of IMEG. “Through this merger, we have created a unique strategic opportunity by combining Missman’s multiple years of civil and structural engineering expertise with IMEG’s expansive building design capabilities. We will remain focused on providing engineering services to our customers -– strengthening our core regional teams to build on our offerings and deliver even greater value.”

Current officers will continue to lead existing Missman client work in the greater Quad Cities and Rockford regions. Eikenberry will also serve as IMEG’s vice president of civil engineering U.S. and be responsible for developing a plan to integrate IMEG civil services across the country while continuing to promote the company to regional constituencies in the greater Quad Cities area.
