The luxuries of never having to worry about your phone dying because of portable charging packs have been a reality for quite some time now, but what about your more power hungry devices. Portable chargers have been trying to solve this problem but constantly run into issues with size and pricing when it comes to charging your laptop. Thankfully, now we have a product that addresses one of these issues while leaving something to be desired in the pricing department.
The new HyperJuice USB-C made by Sanho and funded on Kickstarter boasts a 100 what-hour capacity that is very capable of charging a MacBook Pro or Nintendo Switch for instance. The 7-inch charger has 3 different ports with varying watt capacity to allow for different options depending on what item you are charging. The brilliant thing is that each port can be used simultaneously if you have multiple products that need charging.
The HyperJuice USB-C fit’s in the palm of your hands at only one and a half pounds. It can even be fully charged in as short as an hour to an hour and a half. For how versatile and lightweight the product is, there just isn’t much out there that is on par with the HyperJuice USB-C. As I alluded to earlier, while it does fix the main issue with size, it keeps a fatal flaw in its price.
The main drawback of the HyperJuice charger is its price point. Most portable chargers for phones are relatively affordable depending on how vast you want its capabilities to be. The HyperJuice USB-C costs an outrageous $300. It’s a price point that few are able to look past, but for those who want a top of the line charger, there just isn’t any better option at this point.
