How to Evolve Nymble Into Lokix in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

A slightly rarer creature that players can discover in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that resembles a grasshopper is named Nymble, which has a powerful evolution called Lokix that can be incredibly useful throughout the game. During many entries in the series, the Bug-type has featured prominently with unique designs, a factor shared by Nymble and its evolutionary form. Players are able to find this pocket monster in the West Province of Area 1, or the South Province of Area 3, although its small form might cause the search for it to last quite some time. Despite the effort, players can enjoy a creature with high levels of Attack and Speed statistics that are great for the early stages of the game when adding Nymble to their team.

Nymble and Lokix have a Special Ability that also helps players when trying to evolve into the latter species, called Swarm. Swarm boosts the power of Bug-type moves when Nymble has 1/3rd of their health total or lower, increasing damage nearly double when using a move of that type. Players that take the time or get lucky with a Nymble of an Adamant Nature can combine these tools to wipe out rival Pokémon, gaining massive amounts of XP in the process. Swarm resembles other Abilities like Blaze seen in the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet starter Fuecoco, which boots Fire-type moves instead of Bug. Evolving Nymble into Lokix in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet does not come without some struggle for fans of this bug, but the resulting form players gain provides a high-damage member of their team that functions well against a wide variety of rivals.
