As long as you don’t use anything too ridiculous, you should be able to change your name to whatever you want without Facebook having a hissy fit. It’s also worth noting, once you’ve changed your name, you won’t be able to change it again for another 60 days.
To change your name on Facebook, head to the Settings screen. You can get to it by clicking on the arrow in the top right corner and then clicking Settings.
Next to Name, click Edit.
You’ll then be able to edit and change your name to whatever you want.
Click Review Changes and then enter your password and click Save Changes.
If you’ve got a nickname, professional name or other name that you don’t necessarily go by in everyday life but want attached to your Facebook profile, click Add Other Names. These other names will help people find you in search, so for example, you’d show up for searches for both your married and maiden names.
Click “Add A Nickname, A Birth Name…”

Enter whatever name you want.
If you check the Show at Top of Profile checkbox, the name you choose will be shown in brackets after your Facebook profile name. For example, with this nickname, my Facebook profile would say Harry Guinness (Hazza).

Facebook has a list of ID cards that it considers valid and acceptable but it may vary slightly based on your country of citizenship. Most of us have a driving license or at the very least, a birth certificate. Both are valid.
You cannot change your Facebook name if you have already done so in the last 60 days or less or if you have been changing it frequently. You can also not change your name if Facebook asked you to verify your ID and you failed to submit one.

Open Facebook and sign in to your account. Click on the downward facing arrow and select Privacy and settings > Settings > General and there you will find your name with an Edit button on the right.
You can now enter your first, middle, and last name here. The middle one is optional where you can input your nickname if you so wish.
Click on Review Changes below once you are done changing name. Facebook will remind you of the 60 day policy which we already discussed above but of you might have scrolled past it in a hurry.

If it’s time to change your name on the social network, here’s what to do.
How to change your name on Facebook
On the desktop, tap the downwards-facing arrow in the upper right. Then, select Settings. Under General, you’ll see your name, username (URL), your contact email, and other information. Click Edit next to “Name.” From there, you can enter in a new first, middle, or last name.
