How many episodes are in Zatima season 2 and when is the finale? HITC investigates.

Nobody wants to get comfortable on the sofa ready to tune in to the latest episode of one of their shows only to find that it isn’t on this week. If one of your favorites is Zatima then it’s important to know the schedule.

The Tyler Perry series and Sistas spinoff is available for streaming on BET+ and audiences were recently welcomed back to check in on Zac and Fatima with new installments.

Over the course of the season, we’ve carried on with the couple as they deal with the perils and pitfalls of relationships. With season 2, the US TV show has arguably become just as much of a BET staple as, say, House Of Payne; either that or it’s on its way.

However, you’ll wish to know whether to check in next week. So, how many episodes are in Zatima season 2 and when is the finale?

How many episodes are in Zatima season 2?

Zatima season 2 is made up of just 10 episodes in total and the season finale premiered in a pair on BET+ on Thursday, April 13th 2023.

Cameron Fuller (who plays Nathan) previously suggested on Twitter that there would be 20 episodes this season. Indeed, a Zatima updates fan page recently tweeted that episode 10 served as the mid-season finale.

However, the official BET+ Twitter page recently posted about episode 10 with the caption “Stream the season finale of Zatima right now, only on BET+.”

Taking this into consideration, BET+ has officially confirmed that episode 10 is the season finale and there won’t be 20 installments after all.

Just based off the energy Fatima gives, Zac you should have known meeting the parents wasn't going to be a walk in the park.

Zatima fans react to season 2 finale

Speaking of the Zatima fan page, they recently tweeted asking members of the fandom what they thought of the season finale and it’s crystal clear that opinions are divided.

My heart is aching for them. Last night was definitely hard to watch, still processing the events 🤦🏾‍♀️

Wow. That's all I could say for 20 minutes. I truly detest the way #ZatimaOnBETPlus is playing out. I really thought there would be less unnecessary drama, but I do understand the " mommy" issues they both have and need to work through. But the Connie thing, that's just 🤮….

It's stressing me out. The suspense of wanting to know what's going to happen next is giving me anxiety attacks.

‘Every time you see her you get a reaction’

One of the highlights of Zatima season 2 was Deja and actress Jasmin Brown was recently interviewed by HOLR Magazine to discuss her role:

“Every time you see her you get a reaction. Every time you see me you know there’s going to be some sort of dramatics and mess going on. She’s a very messy character and I really love playing someone like that because that’s not me in real life.”

She added: “It’s really cool to go there and be in that space and not care what people think about you and go all the way.”
