How Did Sage Stallone Die? – Sage Moonblood Stallone also known as Sage Stallone was an American actor and the eldest child of actor Sylvester Stallone. When he was a child, he made a guest appearance on “Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling,” a series that his grandmother, Jackie Stallone, promoted. Stallone’s acting debut was in “Rocky V” (1990), the fifth installment of the Rocky franchise, where he played Robert Balboa Jr., the onscreen son of his father’s title character. He also appeared with his father in “Daylight” (1996).

In 1996, Stallone co-founded Grindhouse Releasing, a Los Angeles-based company dedicated to the restoration and preservation of exploitation films, such as “Cannibal Holocaust” and “Gone with the Pope,” with film editor Bob Murawski.

Stallone did not reprise his Rocky role in “Rocky Balboa” (2006) as he was working on his own film, “Vic,” his directorial debut. He wrote and produced the film, which won the “Best New Filmmaker” award at the 2006 Boston Film Festival.

His last projects were appearances in Vincent Gallo’s last two films, “Promises Written in Water” and “The Agent,” both of which were shown in the main competition at the 2010 Venice Film Festival and at the Toronto International Film Festival. In the 2015 movie “Creed,” a photograph of Stallone as a young child beside his father is shown, and it is mentioned that his character, Robert Balboa Jr., has since moved away to Vancouver.

Sage Moonblood Stallone was found dead at his home in Studio City, Los Angeles on July 13, 2012. According to reports, nothing was heard about Sage Stallone until four days before his death. An autopsy performed by the Los Angeles coroner and toxicology tests revealed that he died of coronary artery disease caused by atherosclerosis, with no drugs detected other than over-the-counter pain relievers. At the time of his death, Sage Stallone was reportedly engaged to Starlin Wright

Sage Stallone’s funeral was held on July 21 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Los Angeles. He is buried in Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery.

Sage was the elder son and first child of Sasha Czack and actor Sylvester Stallone. He had a younger brother, Seargeoh “Seth” Stallone, and three half-sisters – Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet Stallone.

Sage was well-educated; he graduated from Montclair College Preparatory School in Van Nuys, California, in 1993. He then went on to study filmmaking for a year at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Sage’s uncle was actor and singer Frank Stallone, and his grandmother was Jackie Stallone. His stepmother was the model and entrepreneur Jennifer Flavin.
