Four people, including Hannah Rickerl of Boise, 20, were killed in a terrible vehicle accident in Gem County, Idaho. The horrific occurrence happened Tuesday night on State Highway 52, leaving the neighborhood in a state of profound mourning.
Around 9:45 PM, a head-on collision occurred between two vehicles close to milepost 26 on the roadway, according to Idaho State Police. Hannah Rickerl, 20, was riding shotgun in an Audi S5 being driven west by a 22-year-old guy from Meridian. Meanwhile, an 18-year-old Emmett man was operating an eastbound 1993 Dodge pickup truck with a little child inside.
The head-on collision between the Dodge pickup and Audi S5 occurred when the Audi S5 veered into the path of oncoming traffic. All passengers in the Audi were slain instantly, including Hannah Rickerl, who was a cherished passenger. At the scene, the Dodge’s young driver also passed away. He transported his injured but alive young passenger to the hospital.
For everyone who knew Hannah, her untimely death is a tragic loss. She was a happy, outgoing young woman. Being the only child, she and her parents had a unique bond. Hannah liked going on hikes and going camping with her family since they meant the world to her.
Hannah, who was only 20 years old, had established a solid foundation in Boise. At the age of nine, she relocated to the city with her family and saw it as her actual home.
Hannah had ambitions to work for a prominent sports company and was studying marketing in college after graduating from high school. Her affable demeanor and tenacity indicated that she will have a prosperous career.
