H. Mitchell “Mickey” Day Obituary: Howard County Fair Mourns the Death of Former President, H. Mitchell “Mickey” Day

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of H. Mitchell “Mickey” Day on January 2, 2024.

Mickey began his involvement with the Howard County Fair at a young age showing his 4-H projects. As an adult, he continued to volunteer with the fair serving on the board of directors for many years & as its immediate past president. His family’s support of the fair & the agricultural community has been tireless.

Mickey’s infectious smile & laugh will be missed by the many lives he touched.

H. Mitchell “Mickey” Day, 55, is a three-time president of the Howard County Fair Association, which will hold its 71st fair Aug. 6-13. He first served from 1999 to 2002 and is the only person to hold the office more than once.
