Gina Rodriguez has announced today that she will lead Last Known Position, Amazon’s upcoming thriller series centered around the mystery of a plane that’s vanished into thin air. Rodriguez has signed onto the show as lead actress and executive producer, along with boasting previous appearances on the podcast that inspired the show.
Last Known Position, currently in development under Amazon Studios, is originally based on a podcast of the same name created by Luke Passmore (Teen Wolf) in December 2021. The podcast, produced by QCode Media, charted the flight of a commercial jet that disappeared on its maiden flight over the Pacific, and then the ensuing air crash investigation that uncovers that something dark and sinister may have been responsible for the plane’s disappearance.
