Fire damages Clinton roofing company

An early morning fire caused heavy damage to a Clinton, Iowa business.
The fire started around 4 o’clock Tuesday morning at Beckwith Commercial Roofing, 2000 Manufacturing Drive.
When crews arrived they found the metal storage facility fully engulfed.
Fighting the fire was difficult because parts of the building collapsed. Crews were on scene for about three and a half hours getting the fire under control.
The fire did an estimated $75,000 worth of damage to the structure.
