Eric Tomko Obituary – Motorcycle Accident: 47-year-old Bensalem man killed in motorcycle-pickup truck collision on Route 72 in Burlington County.

Tragically, authorities have reported that a motorcyclist from Pennsylvania lost his life in a devastating crash that occurred on Route 72 in Burlington County, New Jersey on Saturday, September 16.

Eric Tomko, a 47-year-old resident of Bensalem, was involved in a collision on Route 72. The incident occurred when Tomko’s motorcycle, travelling in the eastbound direction, collided with a Chevrolet Silverado that was attempting to make a left turn onto County Route 532. The incident took place at approximately 8:50 p.m. in Woodland Township, according to New Jersey State Police Sgt. Philip Curry.

According to the police, Tomko was ejected from his motorcycle after it collided with a Ford Escape that was following behind the Chevy.

Tomko was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash is currently under investigation as authorities work diligently to uncover the circumstances surrounding this devastating event.

Just found out that Eric Tomko has passed away in a motor vehicle accident. Eric, the kid from up the street. My first friend in High School after moving to Lawrenceville, the guy through whom I met everybody else I knew. Eric, the guy who didn’t make fun of my accent UNTIL AFTER I LOST IT, but then he made sure I knew how funny I sounded. We drifted apart after High School, but I never forgot the times we had . So many parties, oh so many blurry memories. Dammit. My heartfelt condolences to your family, Eric.
