Emily Hartridge took down sexist troll in last Instagram post before her electric scooter death

EMILY Hartridge slammed a sexist troll in a final Instagram post the day before she was killed in an electric scooter crash.
The YouTube star, who became the first ever person to die while riding one of the vehicles on Friday, took down the abuser after he accused her of being a "man".

Emily wrote: "Someone messaged me this on Instagram last week and it doesn’t upset me I just think it’s LAUGHABLE.
"This is 2019, how are some of us still stuck in the 1800s.
"I don’t believe there are such things as ‘Manly’ or ‘feminine’, what a crock of [poo emoji]."
Emily also explained how the terms were "created by society years ago" but have been followed "for centuries".
She added: "Men go to work. Women stay home and cook. Men bring in the money. Women look after the children. Men are the bosses.
"Women are the assistants. Men drink the drinks. Women bring them the drinks. Men play sports. Women watch.
'BORE OFF MATE'
"Men drive the cars, women sit in the passenger seat. Men have muscles. Women need to stay thin.......BORE OFF MATE.
"We as women have come so far but there are STILL some men around who just can’t handle what strong ass mother f***ers we have become."
She finished the post by saying negative comments make her want to "look stronger and be stronger" as she revealed she has "never adhered to social norms".
The star added: "Whenever I get comments like this, I just think how sad that you are constantly scrolling on your computer or phone looking for someone to upset whilst we are out in the REAL WORLD living our lives.
"Now can someone please pass me a dumbbell? And make it a heavy one."
TRAGIC DEATH
The take-down on Instagram came just one day before Emily was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision half a mile from her home in Battersea, South London.
Police are appealing for information about the crash and have asked anyone with dash-cam footage to come forward.
The crash is believed to be the first fatal collision involving an electric scooter in the UK.
Emily had built up a huge social media following with more than 340,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
