It seems like popular fitness Youtuber Emi Wong is reportedly parting ways with her husband, Chad, after being married for three years! Emi Wong has further confirmed the saddening news of her separation on social media as she posted a note stating how the two will always be grateful for the memories and everything that they built together over the years and will also continue to support each other as friends despite the split.

The Hong Kong-based creator further apologized for taking some time before making the announcement of the couple making the difficult decision to go their separate ways. Emi thanked her fans and followers for their unconditional love and support while also asking for some privacy as they navigate this difficult time while entering a new chapter in life. The social media post came along with a picture of a parachute flying against the clear blue sky.

When Did Emi and Chad Get Married?

While Emi Wong’s followers have often seen Chad making an appearance on some of her videos, he earlier revealed how they met in 2013 and dated for seven long years, and eventually tied the knot. Emi Wong has earlier credited Chad for helping her with her YouTube videos. Wong once revealed that she was a bit shy while making her first YouTube video, and that is when Chad accompanied her and helped her with her English as well. 

The two got married in a poolside wedding ceremony in Phuket in 2020. Now that the two have announced their separation, several fans have pointed out that they pretty much saw it coming after they noticed that Wong has not been posting much about the two of them on social media and was traveling solely with her friends for a while. Fellow fitness YouTuber Booky Supanooch showed her support in the comment section along with English footballer Charlie Scott.

Emi Wong Talks About Content Creation and More?

Emi Wong looked back and revealed how when she filmed her first video on YouTube, she was shy and awkward and did not want to do it alone, and that is when she asked her boyfriend at the time to be in the video with her as his English is much better than his Cantonese and that is how her YouTube channel began in English.

The popular Youtuber added how she does love speaking in Cantonese, so she filmed quite a few videos in Cantonese as well. When talking about being in the limelight, Wong admitted that it is a struggle with how much one has to share about their personal life to be authentic and engaging with their audience and also to manage to keep certain aspects of their personal life private while also protecting their mental health. Wong called it all a learning process.
