Dasara is rocking the box office with its stupendous success, crossing the milestone of earning Rs 87 crore worldwide. According to a note released by the makers, Dussehra has become the only pan-India film to post the second-highest weekend collection worldwide after Pathaan.

Nani-directed Dasara raked in over Rs 87 crore in worldwide gross box office collections in its opening weekend, makers said on Monday. Directed by debutant Srikanth Odela, this period action drama opened to mixed reviews on March 30. The pan-India film was released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

Dasara Movie Review

According to Analysis, Nani is doing the drama and Nani is doing the action. Yes, he’s amazing with his moves, but pay attention to the heartbreak he processes in the film, and you’ll see why he proudly bears the tag of being a ‘natural star’. However, he deserved a better film for this performance.

Keerthy Suresh’s Vennela fails to find a solid footing for herself amidst the world of men in the film. It begins on a promising note but fades into one protagonist’s love and another’s heartbreak. The other protagonist is Dixit Shetty, who manages to stand out well amidst Nani’s heroic aura.

The characters make a lot of silly decisions to build up to the grand finale scene, which sees Nani Ki Dharani beating up the baddies before burning a giant Ravana effigy. Showcasing Dharani’s thoughts when she is at the climax to bring her back through a shoddily edited friendship montage is one of the worst decisions of the film. Naveen Nooli’s editing doesn’t help much in calming the chaos.

Santhosh Narayanan’s music lifts the deadpan mood in several scenes. The jazzy flavor stands out as the freshman attempts to orchestrate some spectacular set pieces. Every song is a turn-off except for Silk Bar, as it awkwardly tells the story instead of taking place.
