Clinton County issues a burn ban

UPDATE: The burn ban issued for Clinton County will be lifted on Thursday at midnight (12 a.m.).
EARLIER UPDATE: A burn ban has been issued in Clinton County that prohibits open burning within the county.
The State Fire Marshal determined that conditions make open burning a danger to life or property.
The ban started at 1:30 p.m. on Monday and will remain in effect until conditions improve.
