Ballet production of "The Nutcracker"

The Woodlawn Arts Academy wants to help you kick off the holiday season by bringing you the classic ballet, “The Nutcracker.”
The classic ballet features dancers ages 6-adult from Sterling, Rock Falls, Dixon, Morrison and Milledgeville who take dance classes at Woodlawn Dance Academy and other Sauk Valley area studios.
The Executive director of the show, Christy Zepezauer and character, Clara, played by Maddie O came into the studio to talk about the production.
The Nutcracker will take place at Centennial Auditorium at Sterling High School. Show dates are November 17 at 6:30 p.m. and November 18 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 each and are on sale now.
