Career Of  Mike Myers

When Myers was only two years old, he started appearing in ads. He appeared in a commercial for British Columbia Hydro when he was 10 years old, and Gilda Radner played the role of his mother in the advertisement. At the age of twelve, he appeared on an episode of the television series King of Kensington playing the role of Ari. At the age of sixteen, he appeared as a guest star in the pilot episode of the television series The Littlest Hobo titled “Boy on Wheels.”

Myers was invited to join The Second City Canadian touring company soon after he finished high school and received his diploma. Myers made his first appearance on Saturday Night Live on January 21, 1989, and went on to become the show’s first repertory performer to be added in more than two years.
