Before the first eviction, Paloma Aguilar of Big Brother made headlines when she abruptly left the popular reality TV series. Paloma talked openly about her choice to leave the show a few days after she left.

Paloma quit Big Brother after discussing her health problems and anxiousness in the diary room. The Head of the Household (HoH), Daniel, then called the other cast members to inform them that Paloma would no longer be participating in the competition due to personal reasons.

Many viewers suspected that incident might have involved Taylor Hale, another houseguest, but Paloma refuted such claims.

Paloma disclosed that she prioritized her mental health when making her decision to depart in an exclusive interview with US Weekly. She stated to the media,

The cost of maintaining my mental health was not worth $750,000.

She also addressed the reports that she was leaving. Big Brother contestant said:

It’s funny how quickly people draw assumptions about the whole racist incident – Taylor and I are actually close friends, so keep praising her! She is the QUEEN.
The 22-year-old said she and Taylor had become closer toward the conclusion of their acquaintance. She noted that after cutting the initial clips, the performance continued.

Paloma added that because she was worn out, she told Taylor that she didn’t want to hear about it in the previous episode. She commented that since she was familiar with Taylow, it didn’t bother her as much.

The Big Brother contestant continued, “It didn’t matter to me either way,” because I knew Taylor was just trying to play the game. Paloma also made the observation that not all of their interactions were captured on camera. She cautioned viewers to keep in mind that reality TV isn’t always accurate.

The home renovator continued:

“I’m always a fan of boss babes, never going to try to break down a strong lady, and I was really honest with her the first few days when we didn’t get along.”
She went on to say that Taylor didn’t make any attempts to form alliances with other girls, and that their chat about it wasn’t broadcast. Paloma continued by saying that she was solely in love with her former rival. She said that she was eagerly anticipating Taylor’s disclosure so that the two of them could discuss it as independent women.

Prior to her departure, Paloma and Alyssa Snider insulted Taylor by referring to her as a “pageant girl” rather than by her first name. The admirers of Taylor were not pleased with this. Additionally, Paloma and Alyssa planned to form an alliance with the male residents of the residence. They continuously referred to their rival as a “seductress of the boys.”

Taylor hadn’t mentioned the game to the other girls in the house, so Paloma even told her co-stars that Taylor may be a snake in the garden.
