Star of “90 Day: The Last Resort,” Angela Deem, has an on-again off-again relationship with Michael Ilesanmi, and it may be time for them to call it quits. Being single isn’t the end of the world, and Angela, who is known as “meemaw,” could benefit from some time alone. Taking a break from dating would allow her to reflect on her past relationship and regroup. Angela is not often introspective, as she is an outgoing and adventurous Sagittarius. However, if she were to take the time to evaluate her relationship with Michael, she may learn valuable things about herself. While Angela is getting older, she may not necessarily be the most mature woman. Does she need to do some growing up?
“90 Day: The Last Resort” is a spin-off with an intriguing premise, which is unique within the 90DF franchise. The show places couples in a peaceful tropical setting and provides them with New Age-inspired relationship “treatments.” It serves as a last-ditch effort to reconcile couples who seem destined for failure. However, Angela and Michael may have already reached the point of no return. Angela was shown brandishing divorce papers on the show, which speaks volumes. Is their relationship headed downhill from here? Perhaps, and if it is, it may be for the best.

Is Angela Too Unhinged For A Stable Relationship?
Angela lacks a filter – she’s as dramatic as a person can be. While this may be entertaining for reality TV, the Foreigner song “Urgent” really encapsulates her: “You’re so extreme/you can be so temperamental.” She’s prone to the most exaggerated displays of love and hate, like a hurricane. When she’s not destroying Michael’s car in a fit of rage, she’s daydreaming about a happy future with him.
With Angie, nothing makes sense, the ride is chaotic, and the outcome is anyone’s guess. In the past, there’s no doubt that Angela has crossed the line, shown remorse, and then shamelessly crossed it again. She can’t be trusted to control her anger or any other emotion. While this woman is passionate, she’s also messy, and that’s dangerous. That’s one reason why Usman “Sojaboy” Umar, with whom she’s feuding, referred to Michael as her “hostage” during a 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? reunion.
While Angie’s antics may be entertaining, she has crossed into problematic territory more than once. Attacking an inanimate object (Michael’s vehicle) was just the tip of the iceberg. Although that was a crime, she did worse when she got into a physical fight with a “friend” after a tumultuous cab ride to a hotel. The Meemaw fought her “friend” in an elevator, and there were witnesses. This violence is the darker of Angela, simply loses control. Once something her, she uncontrollable. This tendency to lose control, causing harm to property and people, is why Angela needs a break from Michael He often her target.

However, he, now they are in a difficult situation. Angela’s trust issues run deep. That’s one of the reasons why they are on the show, but some issues are too serious to be repaired, even in beautiful surroundings, with patient and innovative experts. However, miracles can happen. It’s not impossible for Angela to learn how to get along with Michael. It’s just highly unlikely.
Does Angela Really Want Just One Man?
Angela’s hypocrisy is evident when she reprimands Michael for his actions, such as staring at a dancer, while she herself is not innocent of similar behavior. Despite having divorce papers in her hand, this Georgia peach doesn’t shy away from flirting, even going as far as to engage with her plastic surgeon, Dr. Michael Obeng, which caused quite a stir. Now, she’s facing criticism for her flirtatious behavior towards a resort employee, even though she supposedly came to the resort for relationship therapy.
It seems that Angela enjoys the thrill of the chase and may be better suited to pursue her own interests. When she tries to portray herself as a faithful partner to a man who is anything but faithful, it only leads to chaos. While Michael has engaged with women online, which angers Angela, she is no different. She formed a “friendship” with a man on TikTok, and one can only speculate about the thoughts that crossed her mind as Meemaw.
Why Is Angela Even Trying To Make It Work?
At this point, it seems like Angela’s heading for disaster. While the divorce papers seem to signify that she’s drawn some kind of line in the sand, calling a halt to the madness, her MO is to stage some dramatic breakup-themed stunt and then backslide. That’s who Angela is, and how she operates. She may be hooked on the drama, getting an adrenaline buzz from the dizzying highs and lows. She might benefit from cutting off the source of that adrenaline – Michael. There are other people who might be exciting, without making her so angry that she forgets where she is and what she’s doing.
